I'm writing this review for those who suffer with Misophonia that have been fortunate enough to discover Adam and his MisoGo programme but might be uncertain, because do you dare hope?
First, Adam is lovely, and his experience is evident. I had 5 remote sessions over a week, and although I thought that might not be enough, by the end of the week I was excited to go out into the world and use the tools and insight he had armed me with. I've never been excited to put in a new pair of ear plugs, or excited to use my headphones, so hopefully that tells you something.
I expected that any therapy regarding Misophonia would be painful, and MisoGo was not. It still slightly blows my mind that there can be such benefit without more pain. Suffering is subjective, so no before/after metrics from me here as it might be different for you - but I will say for sure that Adam helped me greatly, and he was worth every penny.

The most honest review is probably this - I don't know what the charge level is on my noise cancelling headphones right now, and I'm not worried about it.

Hailey Says:
It’s been a little over a year now since my sessions to address misophonia. I’ve struggled with it for 20+ years and it got to the point where it took over my life, it was debilitating, it made me miss out on so many things. I had reached a point where for many years I could no longer picture a life that wasn’t controlled by misophonia. This past year has been amazing, I’ll go days without thinking about misophonia and then I’ll be surprised when I realize I haven’t been thinking about it.
The misophonia is still there (only sometimes) but it’s SO manageable now! I’ve been able to say yes to meals with friends/family so many times and don’t have to miss out anymore. I really can’t express how grateful I am to Adam for helping me, this therapy has truly changed my life.

Jen says:
I recently completed Adam’s MisoGo program and I highly recommend it! Adam’s calming presence and sense of humor made me feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. Like it’s been discussed on other forums, there might not be a cure for misophonia but there absolutely is relief!
I’ve noticed a big difference in my triggers and just overall feeling happier. Consistency is key with miso and keeping up on my daily exercises is a non-negotiable.
My only regret is that I didn’t reach out to him sooner!

A Caring Mum says:
I can’t believe the change in my 15 y/o after her week with Adam. She has not been in school for over a year due to chronic anxiety and misophonia but 3 weeks after her sessions she put on her school uniform and went in for her art lesson which was what she was missing most. She was invested and dedicated and wanted the change but this was probably the third type of therapy we had tried after counselling and misophonia centred CBT, they hadn’t helped. This did!
In her words ‘The program was excellent, despite being short I feel like I learned so much about misophonia and how it affects me as an individual. Adam is amazing and very easy to talk to, I didn’t feel stressed or nervous at all and I was able to open up. I’ve already noticed a big change from this and can’t recommend it enough.

Frequently asked questions
What is Misophonia?
Misophonia comes from the concept of the hatred of sound. But I think it is SO much more than this and entertain a new perspective and explore how sound and movement is actually secondary! I don't think Misophonia has much to do with sound! Let's review!
Who is MisoGo Online For?
MisoGo Online is designed for adults, teenagers and children living with Misophonia. Children should complete the programme with the support and guidance of a parent or caregiver. It is also valuable for parents, partners, family members and professionals who want to better understand Misophonia, Misokinesia and learn practical, evidence-informed strategies to provide effective support.
Is This Suitable For Children?
Yes. MisoGo has been designed to be suitable for children. There are simple overview videos vs more advanced for the neuroscientist in the family!! I recommend that children complete the programme and workbook with someone who can reinforce the techniques and encourage the regular daily exercises.
How Long Do I have Access To The Course?
Your enrollment includes ongoing access to the course for as long as MisoGo Online remains available on the CampMindblocks learning platform. This means that you can revisit the videos, exercises and downloadable resources at no additional cost.
How Quickly Will I Notice Changes?
Everyone's journey is different, but many people notice small positive changes within the first few weeks of consistently practising the techniques. These early changes might include feeling calmer, recovering more quickly after a trigger, or noticing that triggers feel slightly less intense.
More meaningful and lasting improvements typically develop over several months as your nervous system has repeated opportunities to learn new, calmer responses. Like learning any new skill, consistency is key. Spending just a few minutes each day practising the exercises gives you the best chance of seeing lasting change.
The goal of MisoGo Online isn't to promise an overnight cure, but to help you gradually build a calmer, more resilient nervous system so misophonia has less impact on your daily life.
What Are The Required Exercises And How Long Do They Take?
The programme includes a range of simple, practical exercises designed to help calm and regulate your nervous system. These include gentle somatosensory techniques, breathing exercises, grounding activities, visualisation, and cognitive strategies. A client needs to be comfortable with lightly rubbing their hands together, or touching a plushie in a repetitive motion. As well as being able to touch their face themselves. This is part of the Havevinng Techniques.
Most exercises take between 90 seconds and 3 minutes to complete, making them easy to fit into your day. The programme also includes short audio tracks to guide you through some of the techniques, so you don't need to remember everything yourself.
Consistency is more important than spending long periods practising. Just a few minutes each day can make a meaningful difference over time.
Requirements for the MisoGo Online
MisoGo Online is particularly well suited to people who can think about one of their misophonia triggers and notice an emotional response (such as anxiety, anger, disgust, or distress). This allows you to apply many of the techniques directly to the emotional reaction, even without the trigger being present.
If you don't experience a strong emotional response when simply thinking about a trigger, the programme can still be beneficial. The nervous system regulation exercises are designed to help reduce overall stress, improve emotional regulation, and create a calmer baseline, which many people find helpful regardless. But a focus is on reducing the mental tension to the concept I call our ghost soundtrack. As well as learning about what I think is one of the most important considerations .....something I call Injustice Misophonia.
It's also worth noting that some medical or neurological conditions that affect the nervous system—such as ongoing neuroinflammation or conditions including PANS/PANDAS, POTS, or Lyme disease—may influence how quickly someone notices progress. These conditions may need to be assessed and managed alongside this programme. MisoGo Online is not a substitute for medical assessment or treatment where appropriate.
Is MisoGo Online Therapy?
Is MisoGo Online therapy? No. MisoGo Online is a self-paced educational programme, not individual therapy. It teaches you practical, evidence-informed techniques to help regulate your nervous system and better manage the impact of misophonia in everyday life.
Unlike one-to-one therapy, you work through the programme at your own pace and can revisit the lessons and resources whenever you need them. While many of the techniques are drawn from established therapeutic approaches, the programme is designed for self-guided learning rather than personalised treatment.
If you have complex mental health needs or are experiencing significant distress, MisoGo Online should be used alongside appropriate support from a qualified healthcare professional, not as a replacement for it.

Do You Help People With Trauma?
I have 6/7 years of helping people resolve their PTSD, cPTSD and Trauma. Whilst I am currently working through a trauma led model, this requires my FullChange Programme which is a specific and direct programme aimed to resolve flashbacks, triggers and nightmares. Reviews are available across Google and Facebook. This programme working 1:1 is priced starting at 500 GBP for 5 sessions.
Is The MisoGo Online Safe?
Every precaution has been taken whilst building this course. From me wearing a polo neck to hide my swallowing, to filming in my therapy in the early hours of the morning to stop any bird/lawn care activity. The workbook and the videos pre-warn any repetitive hand movements and I have tried not to breathe deeply into the microphone. However, I do have to breathe (!!) and the occasional outside the studio noise does occasionally happen. I recommend perhaps playing some soft music or usual white noise effects just to be 100% comfortable. I have chosen this more costly host as it has the option to transcript too.
