Trauma Relief · The FullChange Programme

Trauma isn’t only about what happened. It’s about how your body held on to it.

FullChange is a safe and gentle way to release the emotional charge from unresolved trauma, aimed at lasting change, without needing to talk about it or relive it. Four personalised 1-hour sessions with Adam, online or face to face, usually over four consecutive days.

You don’t have to tell me what happened. I only need to know what emotion is present. You can keep the whole story in the privacy of your own mind.

Many people fear that getting help means going back through it all.

It doesn’t have to. Adam works in a non-disclosure way, which he describes as non-clinical and non-formal. You decide what to share, and that can be nothing at all.

Who FullChange is for

Designed for specific kinds of distress.

FullChange is for people carrying the effects of anxiety, depression, PTSD, Complex PTSD, panic attacks or unresolved grief that trace back to what they have been through. If any of the experiences below sound familiar, it may be a good fit. If you’re not sure, the free consultation is the place to talk it through.

C

Childhood experiences

Bullying, emotional abuse, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, or domestic violence witnessed or experienced. Long-term stress that shaped how your nervous system learned to stay alert.

E

Event-specific trauma

Accidents, medical procedures, sudden frightening events, bereavement, grief and loss, and military service.

R

Relationship trauma

Trauma bonds, narcissistic abuse and coercive relationships, and their long tail of self-blame, shame, hypervigilance and trust issues. You are not the problem.

How it works

Four sessions, usually over consecutive days.

Ideally delivered over four consecutive days, which gives your nervous system a steady rhythm to settle the work between sessions.

01

Building safety, mapping the ground

A gentle first conversation about what is showing up now: flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance, triggers. You don’t have to say what happened. Adam only needs to know the emotion.

02

Neutralising the trauma

Using a psychosensory technique (Havening Techniques®), taught and explained as you go, and a direct approach Adam has refined over the years, you work to neutralise the emotional charge attached to what happened, without having to tell the story or relive it.

03

Raising self-worth

Trauma teaches the nervous system a story about you. This session regulates the nervous system by addressing unresolved emotions such as resentment, guilt, shame and self-blame, again without disclosure, and offers a different story to hold.

04

Rebuilding resilience

Consolidating the work, with practical self-regulation strategies to take home and a review of what has shifted. The aim is to leave the memory in place but with far less emotional charge, and you with tools to stay regulated.

Working together

An honest word about safety

This programme is not a substitute for crisis support. If you are in immediate distress or considering harming yourself, please contact your GP, the Samaritans (116 123 in the UK), or your local emergency services first.

Where FullChange sits alongside medication, ongoing psychiatric care or other therapy, that is welcomed and often the safest approach. You can talk this through openly in your free consultation.

Common questions

Before you enquire.

Do I need to talk about my trauma?

No. Adam describes his approach as HypNOtherapy: non-clinical, non-formal, and non-disclosure. You don’t have to say what happened. He only needs to know what emotion is present, and you can keep the whole story in the privacy of your own mind.

Is trauma linked to misophonia?

Some people with misophonia or misokinesia have experienced significant trauma. Others have not. Current research does not show that trauma causes misophonia.

Trauma may make an already alert nervous system more sensitive, so emotional and sensory reactions feel more intense. For some people, working through unresolved trauma reduces overall anxiety. For others it makes little difference to their misophonia itself.

Adam’s preference is often to work with the trauma first, and the free consultation is where you work out the right order for you. If misophonia is your main concern, take a look at Misophonia Relief.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. The sessions work well over video call. Adam has worked with clients in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Bermuda, Ireland, Switzerland, the Netherlands and South Africa, as well as across the UK.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Everyone is different, so individual experiences vary and nothing can be guaranteed. The aim of the four sessions is to resolve what brought you here, and the free consultation is where you can talk through what that might look like for you.

How do I pay?

By BACS (UK bank transfer) or card. Where available in your country, you can split the cost into 3 payments with Klarna, ClearPay or Afterpay. Which option appears depends on where you are.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will normally be treated as one of your four allocated sessions and cannot be rescheduled, except in exceptional circumstances at CampMindblocks’ discretion.

What is the refund policy for 1:1 sessions?

Before any planned sessions have taken place, a full refund (or a refund minus any applied discounts or booking fees) is available.

After therapy has started, refunds are usually agreed for any unused sessions (with more than 48 hours’ notice), with completed sessions charged at the normal rate.

After all sessions have been completed, there are no refunds. Full details are on the Terms page.

What if I want to make a complaint?

In the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, please put it in writing to mindblockshypnotherapy@gmail.com and you will receive a reply within 7 working days. Adam will always try to put right any errors or issues, and to make sure your voice is heard.

"

“I went to Adam feeling extremely anxious with multiple issues. My body and mind was in chronic stress mode and it’s a whole new sensation now feeling calm. … I still decided to do our session by Zoom due to convenience and it didn’t change anything!”

— Sophie

"

“I was a bit sceptical at first. … You need to go in with an open mind. The process is emotionally draining, so be prepared to be tired after the sessions, but overall a life changing week. My only regret is not doing it sooner!”
