About Me

I'm founder of CampMindblocks and creator of the MisoGo Programme and the FullChange Trauma Programme.

When I first trained as a hypnotherapist, I never imagined that my career would become dedicated to helping people with Misophonia and Misokinesia.

Like many professionals at the time, I knew very little about these conditions.That changed when I met a client called Cat Hazard. Cat first came to see me for help with PTSD and Complex PTSD. As we worked together, she also shared her struggles with Misophonia. Listening to her experiences opened my eyes to just how devastating the condition could be and how little understanding or support was available.

She had a Misophonic response to someone clicking a pen. After 40 mins she was clicking a pen and me and I was clicking a pen at her and we were both laughing! It was the start of a ripple effect of her friends, then her friends Facebook posts on my Misophonia services and before I knew it, my name was being mentioned on Reddit, Facebook and Misophonia sites. Misophonia chose me....

I became determined to learn everything I could about Misophonia and the nervous system, combining emerging research with my clinical experience to develop an approach centred on regulation, understanding and practical strategies. What began with helping one client gradually became a mission.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting thousands of people around the world through one-to-one therapy, educational resources, support groups and, now, the MisoGo Online Programme. My work has also expanded to include Misokinesia, recognising that many people experience both conditions together.

Cat sadly passed away, but I have never forgotten the part she played in shaping my career. Without ever intending to, she set me on a path that has allowed me to help thousands of others. Every family that has found understanding, every client who has regained hope, and every person who has discovered they are not alone is, in some small way, part of Cat's memory.

Today, my mission remains the same: to make compassionate, evidence-informed education and practical support accessible to anyone living with Misophonia or Misokinesia, so that no one has to face these conditions alone.
